- ➤ Marcus Ellis drove from Walnut Grove to Jackson to drop off turkeys for Turkey Drive 16 at a Kroger on Interstate 55—donating one turkey in each grandchild's name to help neighbors in need. The drive, now in its 14th year, has provided 1 million meals and supports one in six Mississippians who do not have enough to eat. WAPT
- ➤ A PETA supporter dressed as a turkey lay on a cutting board in downtown Jackson for an hour and a half at East Capitol — North Congress Streets to spark discussion about changing Thanksgiving traditions. He said he wanted to encourage a Thanks-vegan meal. WLBT News
