- ➤ D’Iberville students remembered former MGCCC freshman soccer player Landon Perry who was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter last Sunday, and his memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on November 22 at Venture Church Stone County Campus. FOX 40

- ➤ Head Start's 60th anniversary was celebrated in Jackson on Wednesday as part of the History Is Lunch series by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. - ➤ Nearly $1.4 million in donations and a $500,000 grant are funding the new Crigler Park at the intersection of Mississippi and State Streets to help remove downtown Jackson’s blight—two anonymous donations of $400,000 will support a second phase that includes a stage, trail and children’s area, and the park will open May 2027 during Maker’s Mark Fest. - ➤ Today, the Jackson Fire Department celebrated a new union contract & the christening of a nearly $1 million Pierce Engine Pumper at Fire Station 24 in West Jackson.
