Jackson Public Schools is offering free breakfast from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 12 schools until June 27 for anyone under 18 to ease summer hunger.

Adults can buy a $4 meal and the federally funded program (33 years running) aims to help combat summertime hunger in the district.
