- ➤ Tony Levon Hill, 40, pleaded guilty to sale and trafficking of Fentanyl and received a 10-year prison sentence in Madison County Circuit Court following his September 2023 arrest in Ridgeland-when officers found 60 pills during a traffic stop. FOX 40
- ➤ Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade announced a crime summit scheduled for June 12 at 9 a.m. at the Jackson Convention Center to tackle rising gang violence and note a drop in homicides from 48 in 2024 to 25 in 2025. WAPT
