  • Jackson's Boots & More, a western wear store serving the community for over 43 years, will close on Aug. 15 — in-store sales have started and online sales will soon begin as the store sells all merchandise and fixtures.  WLBT News

  • Grammy-nominated Christian artists MercyMe and Jeremy Camp along with Tim Timmons and Sam Wesley will perform at Brandon Amphitheater on Oct. 15 as part of the MercyMe LIVE Tour; tickets will go on sale Friday, May 22 at 11 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.  WLBT News

  • A new initiative from the Mississippi Department of Mental Health is aiming to expand autism services while noting that adult support remains limited.
