- ➤ February figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show Mississippi’s unemployment rate at 3.7%, up slightly from January but below last year’s 3.9%. The Mississippi Development Authority said Compass Data Centers in Meridian secured a tenant, Corderill LLC, that will invest $100 million and create 20 jobs. Mississippi Today
