  • Federal monitors from the receiver's team will visit the Raymond Detention Center today after a detainee died, and findings will be added to the next hearing agenda—despite objections from Hinds County over cost concerns. U.S. District Judge Reeves had upheld the receiver’s appointment last fall, allowing this independent review to move forward.  WLBT News
