- ➤ Jackson police are investigating a homicide on the 100 block of Savanna Street in South Jackson after shots fired during a fight inside a home killed a man aged 51—authorities say the suspect fled the scene. FOX 40

- ➤ JXN Water's interim manager Ted Henifin said nearly all federal flex funds are gone and Jackson City Council will vote Tuesday on a water rate increase needed to cover operating costs. Henifin said he will seek a bridge loan expected to last eight months to a year and may ask Congress to use infrastructure funds if collections do not improve. WLBT News
