- ➤ Retailers in Jackson face delays in receiving wine shipments as a state-run warehouse backlog pushes wait times to four or five weeks since February — officials say a new warehouse is planned to increase capacity by year’s end. Mississippi Free Press

- ➤ Jackson State University faces a housing shortage that has left many students waitlisted amid growing enrollment.
