- ➤ Jackson State University partnered with JXN Run Club on Sunday for a free wellness event offering yoga sessions, vendor booths, Lululemon prizes, and one- or two-mile races that drew about 100 students & community members, with university leaders planning to hold similar events twice a year. - ➤ Mississippi is presenting its full history as part of America 250 at the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Museum of Mississippi History near the Capitol, where exhibits like the Lynching Victims Monolith list over 600 names to show a truthful account of the past. Mississippi Free Press
- ➤ The Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum in Jackson will host the sixth annual Pickle Fest on June 13 and 14 with over 100 vendors, contests including a pickle-eating contest and a costume contest, live music and pickling demos from local growers.
