Good morning, Jackson.

The Do Portugal Circus opened Friday at the Mississippi Coliseum and will run through April 12 — featuring acrobats, aerialists and a rare human cannonball act for Jackson families.

Organizers note that tickets start at $20 for one hour and 45 minute shows, with doors opening one hour before each performance.

Mississippi Museum of Art will host its Art and Coffee series at 10 a.m. on April 11 in Jackson (offering a welcoming space for community members to pause and appreciate art).

A Terry resident says a low-hanging wire is blocking large trucks from using her driveway on Park Avenue.

She contacted several companies and now a Public Service Commission investigator is reviewing her complaint.
