- ➤ Residents in West Jackson have demanded a repair timeline for the nearly one-year closed Coleman Avenue Bridge after safety concerns blocked their main route. Hinds County will open bids on April 1 and repairs are expected to take six months depending on weather. WLBT News

- ➤ St. Dominic hospital has introduced a robotic surgery system that gives doctors extra tools and lets patients recover faster. WLBT News
- ➤ Mississippi lawmakers approved a bill that sets up a clinical trial to study ibogaine for opioid use and mental health issues using $5 million from opioid settlement funds + matching third-party funds. The trial will begin in July if Gov. Tate Reeves signs the bill. Mississippi Free Press

Tate Reeves signed House Bill 565, known as Jill’s Law, on Monday to require state-regulated health plans to offer biomarker testing+ the test examines patient samples to help determine the most effective treatment; the law honors State Rep.
