  • Residents at a local apartment complex raised safety concerns when a leaning light pole was ignored yesterday, and officials plan to inspect it today.  WLBT News
  • Jackson community leaders and volunteers are launching green projects to revive landmarks by planting trees for Farish Street Commons, beginning expansion of the Museum Trail in March, and restoring the Mississippi River Basin Model to pave the way for a future STEM center (plans shared at the Oct. 30 forum).  Mississippi Free Press

  • Mississippi State Department of Health clinics are still open after last Thursday’s ransomware attack affected UMMC; State Health Officer Dan Edney said they switched to paper recordkeeping for safety while UMMC clinics remain closed through at least today as the FBI and Homeland Security investigate.  WAPT
