  • Tamika Green, an Army veteran who left her post office job for training, is converting a recreation center into Blue Heaven Pool while local programs and grants address child care, transportation and job barriers.   • JTRAN workers resumed contract talks with MV Transportation on Friday and union president Charles Tornes Jr. said they made significant progress toward securing higher wages and improved job protections. The negotiations continue as a new contract remains on the horizon.  WAPT
