GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Entergy Mississippi restored power statewide after a winter storm left over 87,000 customers without electricity in Jackson and elsewhere on Saturday morning. Crews faced harsh conditions (including sleet and freezing rain) and continue advising customers to repair home weatherhead damage before reconnection. WLBT News
- ➤ Entergy Mississippi said it restored power to homes and businesses that can safely receive electricity after a winter storm brought sleet, freezing rain & ice, affecting more than 87,000 customers. The utility reported that 2,800 workers helped rebuild service though some homes may still need licensed electrician repairs. WAPT
