  • New federal work requirements set to take effect Feb. 1 will change SNAP rules by expanding the age limit for able-bodied adults to 64 and limiting exemptions to parents with children under 14.   • After Winter Storm Fern caused 16 deaths and left over 79,000 without power, Gov.
