GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers are working to clear roads and restore power in Jackson after a harsh winter storm crossed the state last weekend. Hotshot crews are performing cut and toss debris removal while generators have been delivered (with additional units on the way). WAPT
- ➤ The Mississippi National Guard has deployed more than 500 soldiers from Camp McCain to support winter storm recovery efforts in north Mississippi, including delivering supplies (water and diesel) and assisting with emergency rescues.
