- ➤ Entergy Mississippi has massed 1,600 restoration workers to trim trees and secure power lines ahead of this weekend's winter storms. City officials said crews will work 16-hour shifts to restore power to hospitals, first responders, and water systems and urge residents to stay off the roads. WAPT
- ➤ At a Jan. 21 press conference in Jackson, TSA said airline passengers without REAL ID will pay a $45 fee for TSA ConfirmID starting Feb. 1 (the process takes 10-15 minutes and offers help for those with disabilities). Mississippi Free Press
